Featured Dog of the Week: Frankie Beans

Mr. Frankie Beans is an adorable long-haired daschund owned by Kyla and Kevin Curley of East Boston. Beans joins a large family that consists of two older brothers, Bill Bradski and Charlie, and an older sister, Mollie. The old man of the gang, Bill Bradski, is a frisky border collie and Charlie and Mollie happen to be very playful cats.

Beans the Daschund is almost four months old, and recently grew to 8 lbs! Kyla and Kevin found the breeder using an internet search, which was located in Fall River, Shirls Whispering Winds.

Beans is adjusting well to life in Eastie and loves his brothers and sister. Bill tolerates Beans, but gets jealous when Beans steals all of his toys.

Charlie mostly won't go near him, but Kyla is fairly confident that Mollie and Beans are having a love affair. They like to wrestle a lot and sometimes get a bit too close for Kyla's comfort.

Beans LOVES getting baths and gets extremely excited for the blow dry afterwards! He has gotten so used to it that when Kyla dries her hair after a shower, he dashes into the bathroom to share the wealth. He does a little dance around her feet until she points the hair dryer at him and gets upset if she stops. Because of this she then has to air dry her hair!

We welcome Mr. Frankie Beans to Eastie, and we can't wait to see him grow into an adorable hot dog!!!!
